How to modify folder permissions for user in Windows server

Step 1: Complete the following steps for each of the listed folders.

Step 2: Select the folder and click File > Properties.

Step 3: In the Properties window, click the Security tab, and click Edit.

Step 4: In the Permissions window, click Add.

Step 5: In the Select Users or Groups window, click Locations.

Step 6: Click the name of the local computer, and click OK.

Step 7: In the Select Users or Groups window, click Advanced.

Step 8: In the window that opens, click Find Now.

Step 9: Click the name of the group that you want to set permissions for (DataStage).

Step 10: Click OK twice.

Step 11: In the Permissions list, select to allow Modify, Read & execute, List folder contents, Read, and Write Permissions. Click OK.

Step 12: If you receive a message that asks you to confirm the changes, click Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files.
